Apollo Introduces arcc™

Apollo today announced it is [re]defining the capabilities of the VNA (vendor neutral archive) with its enhanced Enterprise Imaging solution, arcc™.  As the autonomous repository for clinical content, arcc provides a holistic longitudinal view of all patient data throughout the entire care continuum. “We have rebranded our existing enterprise imaging solution and expanded its capabilities.  arcc  is a more descriptive brand which encompasses and conveys a full understanding of the comprehensive functionality our solution provides to each of our users,” stated Mark Newburger, President & CEO of Apollo.

“By creating a product that focuses on the customer as opposed to industry needs, Apollo is redefining the capabilities of the VNA. Our solution supports and manages Radiology and Cardiology images as well as anyone, but arcc was originally built as a platform to support all non-DICOM specialties.”

Apollo is a Proud Partner in National Health IT Week

Apollo is a Proud Partner in National Health IT Week
This October, Apollo — as a partner in the advancement of health information technology to help improve healthcare —is a Proud Partner in National Health IT Week.  National Health IT Week is an awareness week offering all healthcare stakeholders an opportunity to unite under one banner, expressing the benefits that health information technology (IT) brings to U.S. healthcare. “The Value of Health IT.”

Working together with our growing coalition of stakeholders, Apollo is helping to transform healthcare for all and continue our mission to provide Better Care Through Pictures.

Comprehensive health care reform is not possible without system-wide adoption of health information technology, which improves the quality of healthcare delivery, increases patient safety, decreases medical errors, and strengthens the interaction between patients and healthcare providers.

Initiated in 2006 by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), National Health IT Week has emerged as a landmark occasion for using health IT as part of the overall solution to improve America’s healthcare as a bipartisan, federally led, market driven initiative.

The Week consists of events across the country, including National Health IT Week participants —vendors, provider organizations, payers, pharmaceutical/biotech companies, government agencies, industry/professional associations, research foundations, and consumer protection groups— all working together to elevate national attention to the advantages of advancing health IT.

Apollo PACS is now Apollo Enterprise Imaging Corp

Apollo is pleased to announce that we have changed our company name. Formerly Apollo PACS, Inc., our company name is now Apollo Enterprise Imaging Corp to better convey our expertise.

Originally focused on specialty solutions, we have significantly expanded our enterprise imaging know-how as we developed Apollo EPMM® (Enterprise Patient Multimedia Manager). As our current flagship solution, Apollo EPMM encompasses the capture, storage, viewing and sharing of all clinical imaging and multimedia found across your enterprise.

“Because PACS connotes department specific, DICOM image management, and Apollo EPMM spans all imaging departments across the enterprise, we realized the term PACS in our corporate identity was misleading,” notes Mark Newburger, Apollo President & CEO. “The Apollo EPMM solution does much more than typical PACS, including capture, viewing and storage of non-DICOM clinical multimedia in its native format.”

We look forward to continuing our business relationship with you to enable you to provide “Better Care Through Pictures.”
